Christchurch

This small coastal town with its magnficant Priory is on the very eastern part of Dorset sitting in the confluence of two rivers, the Stour and Avon. The picturesque harbour is a haven for wildlife and attracts visitors ranging from fisherman to watersports enthusiasts.

Christchurch rail station is on the main London Waterloo to Weymouth line and services to London are frequent.

Bournemouth International Airport is in the Borough of Christchurch and is located 3 miles from the Town Centre and flights can be arranged to a number of UK destinations and numerous overseas airports.

The interesting range of independent retailers combined with major chain stores makes shopping a pleasure in Christchurch, the main shopping areas being High Street, Castle Street, Bridge Street, Church Street, Wick Lane, Saxon Square Shopping Centre and Bargates. There is also a market on Mondays when the High Street is closed to traffic.

New Milton

New Milton borders the beautiful New Forest which has recently been appointed National Park status. The area also benefits from two relatively unspoiled beaches at Barton on Sea and Milford on Sea.

The town benefits from a main line railway station which has direct access to Waterloo and Southampton. The town has a large shopping complex with all major banks, some supermarkets and there is a street market every Wednesday.

Close by is the historic town of Christchurch with its Priory and a visit to Highcliffe Castle is a must for all visitors.
